Christmas in June

I have always wanted to get engaged at Christmas--with a ring on the tree.  When Mike proposed in June, he created a Christmas wonderland in the apartment and completely surprised me--decked out in candy cane pajamas and all.  It was perfect and just as I had always dreamed.  I didn't want to take the tree down...so we kept it up for a few weeks.

Nana's Diamond

The center diamond is his grandmother's.  Each time she sees me, she kisses my ring.  It is extremely sentimental and makes my heart smile every time I think about it.
