Inspiration
My main focus points are band, drink, food and FUN! A fellow knottie used the phrase "summer vintage", and "formal but fun". These phrases work perfectly for me, too. I love classic, elegant looks, and my venue is so gorgeous I honestly don't feel I need to do a lot with decor and flowers.
I LOVE the color blue. It is the color that calms me; my fiance's eyes are blue, and he looks awesome in all blue shirts, and blue reminds me of water. I grew up on a lake, and I have always loved the various hues of the blue lake as it meets the blue sky. The hint of champagne and blush pink will add to the ivory and black, but I didn't want pink as the primary color.
Flowers
I definitely know I want hydrangeas, ivory roses and daisies. I am trying to figure out how I want to incorporate them in addition to other flowers. I have a lot of pics from magazines. My tastes are very simple! The deep blue hydrangeas are much more expensive than the lighter ones so I'll probably use the lighter ones more. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Monogrammed Flower Letters
Thanks to a fellow Boston Knottie, I discovered the Etsy Seller Rebecca from pickmeflowers. She is creating hydrangea letters with black ribbon. I cannot wait to see them hung on the church and then the reception doors! She is extremely responsive and efficient.
More about Decor...
I love the chairs and don't plan on covering them in any way. I am also going for ivory linens I think. Also, the flowers will be low like the ones on the table. It will be a bit more spruced up with tulle and lights on the ceiling and candles surrounding the perimeter of the rooms.
