OOT Welcome Bags
I ordered these bags and LOVE them. I used to shop a lot at a local boutique that used them; it has since closed, but the owner told me just where to find them. They will be stuffed with such items as the following.....This is a brainstorming list!
- Bottled Water (Debating on the personalized labels)
- Nana's Marble Squares (a bride's family recipe)
- Nana's PIzzelles (a groom's family recipe)
- Gum, mints
- Maps & Itinerary
- Wedding Shuttle Bus Ticket
Gifts and Favors for Guests
We are doing a few different favors/gifts in addition to the OOT Welcome Bags.
There will also be..
There will also be..
- Friday party at my parents' house
- Flip flop basket for all the ladies--SOOOOO BUMMED! FLIP FLOPS DO NOT FIT THE VENUE'S DRESS CODE SO IT'S A NO GO. BUMMER!
- Jordan Almonds--I'm marrying an Italian! I love the tradition behind them.Five almonds signify five wishes for the bride and groom: health, wealth, happiness, fertility, and longevity. These almonds decorate each place setting as favors, tucked into pretty boxes or tulle bags called *bomboniere* that are often personalized with the couple's names and wedding date.
- Take out containers for dessert table
- Donation to Cancer research. Still trying to figure out the details, but these are our thoughts.
